Good keiko at the 2026 New Mexico Seminar

The weather in New Mexico was perfect in March. Cool and dry made for great conditions for strong keiko.

Enjoying the cool weather in the Sandia Mountains after some good Shinto Muso Ryu keiko.

A diverse group gathered from across the United States from the east coast, west coast, and the mountains and deserts. We all converged at the Albuquerque Shin Budo Kai dojo for three days of keiko and friendship.

We were able to spend a good amount of time reviewing and exploring the kihon and kata of Shinto Muso Ryu, as well as working on some kenjutsu and juttejutsu. The number of participants was just right so that everyone got a chance to work with everyone else multiple times.

A big thank you to Ralph and Walt and the Albuquerque Shin Budo Kai dojo for hosting us and setting the stage for a wonderful weekend.
